Q. How long does it take for my listing to appear?

A. If your site is already listed in the Christian Family Links search engine, your listing will appear as soon as you get the code on your site and get your first vote. If your site is not listed in the Christian Family Links search engine, list it now, and your site should be approved in under 24 hours.

Q. Why does it take that long?

A. Each site has to be visited and checked before we will list it. We make sure that it complies with our listing terms. If it doesn't then we will not list it.

Q. I submitted my site, but it hasn't appeared in your directory. How come?

A. There could be a variety of reasons. Perhaps it didn't agree with our listing terms. Or perhaps your site was listed, but under a different category than you submitted. Maybe you inadvertently entered a bad URL and your site couldn't be found. If you feel that your site should be listed, then re-submit it again.

Q. I can't seem to find our listing on your website. I looked where it is supposed to be listed, but it is not there.

A. If you do a search for one of your main keywords, your site should show up. But the easiest way to find a site listing is to search for your URL. e.g., do a search for url:mysite.com

Q. On the TopSites listings, what does the 'In' and 'Out' columns represent?

A. The 'In' represents the votes for that site which is recorded when a visitor clicks on a voting button on their site. The 'Out' represents visitors clicking on their site listing in the topsites and visiting their site.
